Parking lot entrance and exits
Fantastic was Geordie Greep. An energetic show he puts on, and I’ve seen him before. Before returning to Thunder Ridge, the parking lot entrance and exits must be addressed. Hwy. 86 could handle that much traffic was insane to ever believe. We waited almost 3 hours before we could exit parking lot 3b onto Hwy.86.
On a hill on a sunny afternoon was hot, but doable sitting. What that experience would be like on a HOT July afternoon or a slick, rainy evening, I can’t imagine. More lights are needed, and the experience was not friendly to my friend who did not walk well. For the positives, there were plenty of bathrooms and food stations. The aviation show was fantastic, and the acoustics were excellent.
Two unopened water bottles should be allowed in per person, stadium seats allowed, and absolutely no smoking in the field and hill area, I think. The constant smell of cigarette smoke from the folks on the blanket near me was absolutely disgusting.
I know Johnny will get the problems fixed and bring in some amazing artists. I won’t go back until some logistic improvements are made.
